Ukraine Looks to Improve After Opening Loss to Romania

Ukraine has been drawn in Group E for EURO 2024, alongside Romania, Slovakia, and Belgium. The Ukrainians secured their place at the tournament on the back of 2-1 wins from behind in their Euro 2024 play-off matches. However, they will need to improve upon their opening game performance, a 3-0 loss to Romania, if they are to progress to the knockout stages.

Ukraine's first match in Group E will be against Slovakia on June 17th, followed by Belgium on June 21st and Romania on June 25th. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stages.
